A Passion For Pinehurst
For Victoria Adkins, Pinehurst is not just a place. It’s a feeling.
And, above all, it is home.
But Victoria wasn’t quite so sure when she arrived in 2012. She was accustomed to living in large international cities: Paris, London, Hong Kong.
One of her early stops here was a real estate office at 30 Chinquapin Road in the Village of Pinehurst. And then the wheels began turning. A new home with a storied history. Bicycling through the village. Strolling with her yellow Lab. Immersing herself in the community.
And becoming a Realtor.
As an award-winning agent with Coldwell Banker Advantage, Victoria is passionate about selling the Sandhills region. A former special education teacher and corporate spouse, she is an active listener who understands her clients – in part because of personal experience (19 moves and 4 countries).
Victoria is also committed to giving back. She is a Board member with the Moore County Community Foundation, a volunteer for Moore County Motheread; an advocate for animal welfare and pet adoptions, and second-term President of the Garden Club of the Sandhills. She donates a portion of every sale she makes to the Sandhills Woman’s Exchange.
“Pinehurst embraced me,” she says.
And she embraced Pinehurst.
Victoria marvels about how life has an interesting way of coming around full circle. Coldwell Banker Advantage recently opened its second office in Moore County – at 30 Chinquapin Road in the Village.
Ask Victoria and she’ll tell you there’s no feeling quite like coming home. Blooming where you are planted. And helping others find their own special place to flourish.
